We champion intersectional voices through The Writers’ Den Podcast, allowing us to provide the (virtual) space for processionals and intersectional writers alike to learn. They do this via engaging with conversations touching on all areas of the publication and writing processes.
We hold space for every intersectional writer who has their work published here. We hold intersectional writers proudly and closely within our ranks and throughout the Intersectional Lines Project for writers to submit to, and our own publication (coming soon). We pride ourselves on being a place where the writers of intersectional work, also intersectional writers, can know their work shall be kept safe to continue the canon of Intersectional literature.
We do this through our Workshops and our three levels of Courses (‘Beginning Writer’, ‘Gaining Experience’, and ‘Developing Writer’) to ensure that intersectional writers have the critical theory and creative practice intertwined. This allows us to see what is out there, and understand how, through their understanding of the world, they can contribute to it as an intersectional individual.
