InkNQuill was founded on the idea that inclusive, critically-engaged creative writing education should be at the forefront of everything we do. We use practice-based, evidence-informed solutions to help develop inclusive curricula, creative writing education, and help develop your practice. We deliver your stafff and students' results which allign with our mission statement: to develop creative-critical practioners who can create disruptive literature.
Here at INQ, we have a three-step process to go from initial project idea to final results.
This is where we will consult with you to understand what you need and how we can help you achieve those dreams. We recommend coming prepared with a simple idea that we can work from to make the process as easy to follow as possible. The clearer the idea, the easier it is for us to follow your lead. This could be an EDI-related or curriculum challenge, or a need for specialised training and facilitation.
We will then conduct a needs assessment for your organisation, where we look at what’s going on and how we can help. We will need transparency here to be as helpful as possible. We work with you to understand your existing materials, goals, policies, and materials and consider the root causes of student need within your organisation.
Based upon our discussion with you and your team, we deliver a detailed proposal which outlines the scope of the work we will carry out, clear deliverables, project timeline, and the fixed fee.
For more information, we recommend you consult our guide on how to effectively get the most out of your consultation.
You have officially completed the discovery stage, and we know what we need from you. Great! We delve into the bespoke work and combine our expertise to effectively deliver our best work using the most up-to-date advice possible.
We then develop the materials. Our work is informed by active roles, ensuring our solutions are active, timely, and relevant to your organisation. We then review these and provide close communication, key milestones for your team to review drafts and provide feedback, ensuring the final project aligns perfectly with your institutional capacity.
We deliver the complete, finalised project and secure your acceptance. Then, we conduct facilitation workshops or provide additional materials to ensure your team is confident and prepared to deploy the strategies successfully.
We can then arrange a post-project check-in to monitor the effectiveness and address any other challenges, solidifying the long-term impact of the work we do for your organisation.
With a background in creative writing education, founder of InknQuill, and long-standing record of publications as an active, published writer and qualified educational practitioner, Eri specialises in developing inclusive curricula for neurodiverse, queer, and other minority students.
InknQuill’s courses ensure that literature and theory are blended together to effectively develop a cohesive programme of offerings, which are sure to inspire an intriguing understanding of literature and creative writing practice and develop ‘intentionally disruptive’ practitioners who develop creative work which is ready to be published.
Outside of their responsibilities as founder of INQ, Eri serves on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion board for their course at the University of Nottingham, Accessibility Liaison for Queer Midlands, and serves on the ambassador board for the young people’s charity Just Like Us.

English Post-16 Inclusive Curriculum Design
Teaching English is a goldmine of showcasing the diversity of the human experience. With set texts for English Literature or teacher-selected texts for English Language GCSE, the emphasis remains the same: creating a safe enviroment for students. This will enhance their progress and enjoyment of the English curriculum through adapting your work to be neuroqueer-friendly for every type of student.
Eri loves facilitating interactive workshops for students. Creative writing facilitation provides students with the tools to understand and capitalise on critical theory and its intersection with power dynamics to produce creative-critical practitioners. We can run a session and train your staff on how to facilitate these sessions yourself.
