Our Team

Like a good novel, this is where it all started.

And like a good story, we continue to get more detailed.

We are a team which focuses on the intersectional experience, and come from a variety of backgrounds with one central mission championing intersectional writers. With a variety of remote roles we have so many ways for you to develop expertise. From social media to helping on the publishing team to admin assistants (we always need more of them!).

These include:

  • Making a direct application to Ink N Quill through the form. Please note that these are volunteer roles at this time.

  • Making a speculative application to Ink N Quill, listing the roles you are interested in. To do this email inknquill.org@gmail.com with the name of the role in the header, and what you’re looking for/some experience in the body of the email.

  • E. J. Kingdom (They/Xe)

Outside of academics, they are an active writer who writes across many forms – poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction.  With a published novel and an upcoming poetry collection in the works. Previously, xe’s writing has appeared in Honeyfire Literary magazine, The Paper Crane, and Writerous, exploring themes of identity, societal responsibility, and justice.

When not writing or teaching, Kingdom enjoys walking through local forests and engaging with diverse, socially conscious narrative voices.  To find out what E. J. is doing outside of Ink N Quill, you can follow them on Bluesky, Instagram,  and their linktree.
